GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Erasmus South forms part of an enormous project with a total area of 3.1 hectares that the BRDA is developing in the south-western part of the territory of the Brussels Region along the Route de Lennik in Anderlecht, in the neighbourhood of the Ring and of the Erasmus Hospital and medical school campus of the ULB.

Erasmus South is reserved for productive activities as they are defined in the Regional Land Development Plan (PRAS) with priority given to those involved in high technology, the production of material services or the production of intangible goods. Nonetheless, craft and industrial activities that are compatible with the site and activities oriented toward technology can also be envisaged.

This site will benefit from an attractive structure with a module for services including a restaurant, a cafeteria and a conference room.

The BRDA carried out the construction of the roadways and the public facilities (water, gas, electricity, public lighting, telecommunications, ducts pending), the plantings and the development of the green spaces and pedestrian paths as well as the general signage.

The northern part of the industrial park already accommodates different companies such as UCB, L’OREAL, NEVADA-NIMIFI, PLANET PARFUM, CLUB, ISS, RECKITT BENCKISER, WEGENER DM BELGIUM.

The urban planning regulations are available on simple request from the Commercial Department of the BRDA. For the PRAS, the Erasmus South site is located in an urban industry zone; the site is classified in part as an industrial zone, a green belt and a green belt of high biological value.
